The Bucket List.

Time check: 6.30am.
Description: Light Blue sky with intermittent lightning and chirping birds.

I haven't been awake at such unearthly hour for a while.
But with thanks to erratically humid weather and germs brought home by Dad and Bro. I'm down with flu and cough (like who else isnt?) and so i'm up due to the incessant coughing.

I was out in the Business District yesterday, going for a job interview (yes. I finally stepped out of my shell!)(No. I still haven't gone for a holiday yet!).
Not going into details of my job in here so I'll tell ya all when i see ya.

After the interview, i met up with an ex-client turned friend. We did the usual sharing & catching up stuff and he shared with me a movie which he recently watched, titled the The Bucket List. Story revolves around two terminally ill men, escaping from a cancer ward and headed off on a road trip with a wish list of to-dos before they die. And the wish list in mention is "The Bucket List" - a list of things you wish to do/see/achieve before you kick the bucket.

I wonder, do all people have a bucket list? A list with all the things they hope to achieve or do before they move on to the next dimension?
Is it beneficial to have one? A written black and white commitment to ourselves so that we will live our lives to the fullest the way we want it and move on without regrets. And what if at the end of our journey there are still tonnes of unaccomplished tasks on the list, would that make our life less fruitful? Maybe. Maybe Not.

One great ideology i learnt recently "How you think dictates how you feel; you are what you think". So if u think u lived life meaningful, it will be meaningful. (ooo. early morning pep talk guess where this came from)

So here is Pris's Bucket List (farfetched & dreamy but hopefully one day a reality )...

  • spread awareness of illegal/senseless/cruel poaching of wildlife (sharkfins included)
  • feed & protect starving children worldwide
  • keep the earth alive for future generations (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle)
  • to see the good in everyone
  • find positivity in every situation
  • to inspire peoples life
  • to sky dive
  • to travel the world
  • to act
  • to make loads of money

I copied this from a friend's blog. :P

“Vision without Actions is simply a Dream.
Actions without Vision are Nightmares.
Vision with Good Actions bring about Great Things.”

You have good visions, so all you need now is good actions! :D
